About The Position

This position assists pharmacists and pharmacy coordinators with resolving medication claims, pricing, coding, and related inquiries. The role works with internal departments and external vendors, such as pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), to evaluate and resolve pharmacy-related issues accurately and promptly. It manages inbound calls, conducts member and provider outreach, and collaborates with pharmacists on account-based work to support medication management. The position also supports population health initiatives and participates in project-based, data-driven efforts to improve operational outcomes. This is a hybrid Flex role requiring at least three days in the office and two days remote. The position aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan. Compensation varies based on job-related skills, education, knowledge, experience, and location.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related health care field, or four years of work experience in the health care or insurance industry (or equivalent).
Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Managed care customer service experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
Drug information skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and strong organizational skills.
