Pharmacy Intern - Grad

CVS Health
•$23 - $28•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health’s Graduate Pharmacy Intern role provides an opportunity to apply pharmacy-school learning in real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader, the intern completes a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation to build knowledge of store, district, and regional operations. Training and hands-on work cover patient safety and error prevention, quality assurance and drug utilization review, and professional standards such as corresponding responsibility and red-flag detection. The intern supports pharmacy operations and helps ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring patient service. The role involves following standard operating procedures and pharmacy workflow, communicating effectively, and contributing to a safe, inclusive team culture. With increasing tenure and readiness, the intern takes on greater accountability for pharmacy management, oversight, and operations. The position also requires flexibility to work shifts at other stores in the market as business needs arise. Where permitted by law and supported by required training and certification, the intern may deliver additional patient health services, including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics. The position is part-time and eligible for benefits and programs subject to hours worked and eligibility.
