We are seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician for a PRN opportunity at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This entry-level position is ideal for gaining clinical experience. The role involves delivering medications to patient floors, stocking the Omnicell dispensing cabinet, and assisting with duties in the central pharmacy. A Pharmacy Technician license in Florida is required. Positions requiring a level II Background check will undergo screening as a condition of employment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
- Registered Pharmacy Tech (RPT) with Florida Board of Pharmacy Required
Nice To Haves
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) Preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver medications to patient floors
- Stock the Omnicell dispensing cabinet
- Assist with duties within the central pharmacy
- Assisting pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications
- Maintaining the drug inventory
- Maintaining patient records
- Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
