About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join their pharmacy team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity, working from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with every other weekend rotation. This entry-level position is ideal for gaining experience in a clinical setting. The role involves delivering medications to patient floors, stocking the Omnicell dispensing cabinet, and assisting with duties in the central pharmacy. A Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Florida is required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
- Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) - Board of Pharmacy Required
- Pharmacy technician license in the state of Florida
Responsibilities
- Assisting pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications.
- Maintaining the drug inventory.
- Maintaining patient records.
- Working under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Deliver medications to patient floors.
- Stock the Omnicell dispensing cabinet.
- Assist with duties within the central pharmacy.
