About The Position

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Cook to our Dietary Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a Full-Time opportunity working primarily day shift times from approximately 9:30am to 6:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Evening shift coverage may be required as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience as a line cook or grill cook working in a restaurant. ServSafe certification is a plus. Requirements

  • Less than 1 year Food Service Experience Preferred
  • Less than 1 year Cooking Experience Preferred

Nice To Haves

  • ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for patients, guests, and staff.
  • Working clean, safe, and sanitary in accordance with department policies
  • Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service to our guests, patients, and staff
  • Working in a fast-paced environment
  • Taking ownership of their area -- this position will be responsible for prepping, cooking, and engaging with customers
