About The Position

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Patient Transporter in our Patient Escort Services Department at Baptist Medical Center Downtown Jacksonville. This is a full-time opportunity. Requirements

• High School Diploma Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Responsibilities

• Accept patient move assignments from the Dispatcher to provide a safe and efficient transport of the patient; This may be done utilizing a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed and must always be done in a quick yet safe manner.
• Work closely with the nursing staff to ensure that continuity of patient care is maintained at all times.
• Be compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
