About The Position

The Pharmacy Grad Intern gains hands-on experience in a community pharmacy, supporting customer health and well-being and learning to provide patient care. The role supports pharmacy operations with a focus on customer care, safety, clinical care, and compliance with legal and company policies. The position is for candidates enrolled in the final year of an accredited pharmacy school.

Requirements

• Enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Ability to cater to individual patient needs.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

• Bachelor of Science.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
