About The Position

Join Walmart's pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Grad Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting customer health and well-being in a community pharmacy setting. The role supports pharmacy operations, patient care, customer service, and compliance with legal and company policies. The position is intended for someone enrolled in the final year of an accredited pharmacy school.

Requirements

Enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.

Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records according to company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
Support pharmacy inventory management and maintain the pharmacy area.
Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
