About The Position

As a Pharmacy Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy while supporting customer health and well-being. You will help provide clinical care, promote patient wellness, and contribute to pharmacy operations while following legal and company policies. The role includes assisting with prescription and over-the-counter orders, delivering patient care, handling merchandise and supplies, and maintaining confidentiality and pharmacy inventory.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in the final year at an accredited pharmacy school.
• Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
• Have the ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Be able to address individual patient needs.
• Commit to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Recognize patients, assess their needs, and help them navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
