About The Position

As a Pharmacy Grad Intern at Walmart, you will gain hands-on experience supporting customers’ health and well-being in a community pharmacy. You will help improve customer health and wellness, advocate for patient well-being, and contribute to pharmacy operations while following customer-care, safety, legal, and company requirements. The position is intended for someone enrolled in the final year of an accredited pharmacy school.

Requirements

Enrolled in the final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
Ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
Ability to address individual patient needs.
Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with Company policies and local, State, and Federal guidelines.
Help process prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
Provide patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
