About The Position

Genoa Healthcare is seeking a per diem Pharmacy Delivery Driver to deliver medications and other products between the pharmacy, clinics, and residents’ homes. When no deliveries are scheduled, the driver may assist in the pharmacy. The role is based at 3809 South Center Street, Suite 100, Marshalltown, Iowa. The driver covers PTO and call-outs on weekdays, Monday through Friday, during pharmacy hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; the pharmacy is closed for lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Genoa Healthcare is part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group and works with community-based providers and coordinated care teams to help people with complex health conditions receive medications and follow treatment plans. The role offers development opportunities for other positions. The stated hourly pay range is $16.00 to $25.00, based on full-time employment; benefits are subject to eligibility requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and follow maps and directions to customer locations using mobile applications.
Access to reliable transportation.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a company courier or driver.

Responsibilities

Load vehicles with medications and products for delivery.
Complete deliveries accurately and on time, efficiently and courteously.
Verify receipt of delivered items and provide a signature for receipt.
Process required paperwork according to established procedures.
Shred paperwork for disposal.
Help maintain a clean pharmacy by performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming and disposing of trash.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Provide assistance in the pharmacy when no deliveries are scheduled.
