About The Position

This role provides distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification. The Pharmacy Advocate Technician will refill and maintain automated dispensing systems, prepare orders and maintain inventory for the Pharmacy department, and prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds. They will also repackage bulk medications, receive and store incoming supplies, and triage incoming calls. This position serves as a liaison between pharmacy, patient, and health professionals by providing information.

Requirements

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience.
Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
