Pharmacist - Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy (Part Time)
About The Position
CVS Health is hiring a part-time Pharmacist for its Specialty Mail Service Pharmacy in Fairfield, New Jersey. This is a dispensing operation and is not a patient-facing role. The Pharmacist verifies products being dispensed for accuracy and provides leadership and guidance to supporting staff. The role also involves filling pharmaceutical products accurately, using available resources to support cost-effective workflow and medication management, performing distributive functions, and completing other fulfillment duties assigned by a leader. The schedule is approximately four days per week, for 28 hours: Tuesday through Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Availability to flex to a later shift, sometimes until 11:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, is required. The Pharmacist should expect to be on their feet for most of the shift and perform repetitive physical movements.
Requirements
- At least six months of experience as a pharmacist.
- Current Pharmacist License in New Jersey in good standing, based on applicable state licensing requirements.
- Availability to flex into a later shift, sometimes until 11:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
- Ability to be on your feet for most of the shift and perform repetitive physical movement.
Nice To Haves
- Three or more years of pharmacy practice experience.
- Experience in mail order or retail pharmacy.
- At least six months of work experience in a pick/pack/ship environment.
- Additional out-of-state Pharmacist Licenses.
- Flexibility to be available for an early morning or late-night shift, as well as Sundays.
