About The Position

CVS Health is seeking a full-time Staff Pharmacist for its CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy in San Diego, California. The pharmacy specializes in chronic disease conditions including transplant, multiple sclerosis, HIV, oncology, hepatitis C, and autoimmune conditions. The role is based in an intimate apothecary-style environment, supported by the resources and security of a Fortune 10 company. The Pharmacist will accurately fill prescriptions and provide exceptional care and service to patients and providers. The role also includes marketing activities with sales staff to network with local providers, developing and overseeing technicians and interns, and working closely with the pharmacy manager to ensure daily functions are carried out. The position is scheduled to be available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and is listed as 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Current California Pharmacist License in good standing, based on applicable state licensing requirements.
At least 1 year of experience as a Licensed Pharmacist.
Available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Bachelor’s or PharmD degree in Pharmacy.

Nice To Haves

Experience with RxConnect.
Nevada Pharmacist License.
At least 1 year of experience as a Specialty Pharmacist.
