About The Position

Macey's is seeking a Pharmacist to verify prescriptions, deliver customer service, interact with physicians, and manage pharmacy personnel. The Pharmacist supports pharmacy operations and business objectives, maintains service standards across counseling, dispensing, pricing, licensing, inventory management, and record keeping, and satisfies Pharmacist-in-Charge requirements. The role also includes quality assurance, staff coaching and mentoring, and partnering with management on store programs designed to meet sales objectives and increase prescription volume.

Requirements

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Active pharmacy license in the state where applying, with all held licenses in good standing.
• Strong commitment to customer service and willingness to provide clinical services such as immunizations and health screenings.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Check and verify prescriptions, provide customer service, interact with physicians, and manage pharmacy personnel.
• Execute common store processes and help pharmacy operations achieve planned business objectives.
• Uphold service standards for counseling, dispensing, pricing, licensing, inventory management, and record keeping.
• Satisfy all Pharmacist-in-Charge requirements.
• Perform quality assurance steps to ensure work processes are efficient and effective at each workstation.
• Provide pharmacy staff with honest feedback, coaching, mentoring, and recognition.
• Partner with management to implement store programs that help meet sales objectives and increase prescription volume.
