About The Position

Macey's is hiring a part-time Deli Department Clerk. The role supports deli production and customer service while helping maintain a productive, professional department and strong coordination with other store departments. The employee is expected to perform essential duties accurately and productively. Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty with accuracy and maintain a high level of productivity.
• Sufficient knowledge and ability to teach the fundamentals of deli production, including mixing, scaling, cooking, frying, and finishing.
• Ability to communicate professionally and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to build customer relations.
• Promote department and store morale through professional, honest, and open communication.
• Maintain working relationships with other department managers to support storewide sales.
• Comply with company policies, programs, and directives in the Code of Conduct.
• Set a professional example for other store team members through coaching and personal evaluations.
• Develop sufficient knowledge and ability to teach deli production fundamentals, including mixing, scaling, cooking, frying, and finishing.
• Coordinate and communicate with other departments to support the smooth flow of products and service throughout the store and deli operation.
• Maintain adequate and appropriate department records.
• Perform essential duties accurately and maintain a high level of productivity.
