About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician II works at Scripps Health’s Torrey Pines outpatient infusion center, which provides chemotherapy services using current techniques. The role supports infusion-center pharmacy operations through inventory management, pump compounding, investigational drug compounding, and central prior authorization support. The technician may float based on staffing needs.

This is a full-time position with 10-hour varied shifts. The Infusion Center is open Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current California Pharmacy Technician License.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certification (CPhT) required within six months of hire.
• At least six months of experience in the current practice environment or in sterile compounding.
• At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician in any practice setting.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in a relevant practice area is preferred.
