About The Position

Assists the Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs technical duties involved in handling, packaging, and delivering pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II demonstrates proficiency in two or more pharmacy function areas, such as production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient. Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
