About The Position

Kwik Trip is hiring a Petroleum Transport Driver to deliver petroleum products to store locations on a timely basis. Drivers are based in 25 locations and collectively deliver one million gallons daily to more than 900 stores, logging over 20,000 miles daily. Drivers are home at the end of each shift. The fleet is equipped with electronic logging and satellite communication and is regularly serviced by Kwik Trip’s Truck Maintenance Shop. The role is based in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area. The candidate must live within both 60 minutes and 60 miles of the Cedar Rapids home base. The schedule is Friday through Monday, 3 p.m. to 3 a.m. The stated average yearly pay range is $90,000–$150,000; the posting also lists an annual average salary of $101,000, including safety/performance bonuses. Total earning potential includes base pay, quarterly incentive and safe driving bonuses of up to $9,400 annually, and profit sharing. Requirements

Class A CDL with combination vehicle, air brakes, general, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements.
At least 2 years of Class A CDL tractor/trailer combination experience.
Good driving record.
High level of customer service.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Basic math aptitude, including computing percentages.
Willingness to learn and perform a variety of job tasks.
Ability to work well with others and with minimal supervision.
Ability to understand and accurately complete invoice paperwork.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must live within both 60 minutes and 60 miles of the home base in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Ability to sit up to 6 hours at a time, stand up to 1 hour at a time, bend/reach/twist occasionally, lift/carry up to 50 pounds from 24 to 60 inches occasionally, and push/pull up to 62 pounds of force occasionally.
