Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is seeking experienced and reliable Pet Care Professionals for part-time Pet Sitting and Dog Walking roles in Cranston, RI. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about animals, comfortable with various pet types and sizes, and seeking a long-term, flexible role. This role involves providing exceptional care to pets while their owners are away or occupied, including dog walking, feeding, administering medication, and general pet care.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Prior professional animal care experience (in a professional, volunteer, or educational setting)
- Reliable vehicle
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of auto insurance
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
- Daily access to email and the internet
- Comfortable using mobile apps for scheduling, communication, and visit documentation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoors walking dogs year-round in various weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Consistent morning and evening availability Monday through Sunday (at least 1-2 hours between 7-9 am and 6-9 pm)
- Ability to work at least 10 hours per week

- Zoo/aquarium experience
Responsibilities
- Dog walking and exercising dogs
- Letting dogs out for bathroom breaks
- Pet sitting for dogs, cats, and other small animals
- Feeding pets
- Administering medications as needed
- Cat care and small animal care
- Cleaning litter boxes
- Providing love and attention to pets
- Following detailed care instructions provided by clients and within the client management system
- Leaving notes for clients after each visit
- Traveling between clients' homes to care for their companions
