Entry Level Pest Control Technician
About The Position
D&R Pest Control is seeking a trustworthy candidate with a positive attitude to work as a Pest Control Technician. The locally owned company has operated since 2008 and provides proactive pest services using Integrated Pest Management (IPM), with a focus on ethical service, customer relationships, safety, and improving the communities it serves. The technician takes over an established local route, with routes scheduled by the company; selling and building or scheduling routes are not required. The role involves serving residential and commercial customers and may require additional hours during peak season.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong sense of trustworthiness.
- Comfort working at heights, in tight spaces, and outdoors in year-round weather.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during peak season.
- Ability to pass state testing to become a licensed pest professional.
Responsibilities
- Work with leadership and fellow team members to provide high-quality customer service.
- Drive a company vehicle to customers’ homes and businesses.
- Maintain company vehicles according to company policy.
- Apply company pesticide products at residential and commercial locations, following safety procedures and product label instructions.
- Complete required paperwork to comply with state and federal laws.
- Pass state testing to become a licensed pest professional.
