About The Position
Clark's Termite & Pest Control is hiring an entry-level Pest Control Technician to serve customers in the West Columbia, South Carolina area and nearby communities. No prior pest control experience is necessary; the company provides full training. Technicians inspect homes and businesses, carry out pest-management treatment plans, recommend preventive solutions, educate customers, and build lasting relationships through professional, empathetic service. The position involves traveling to customer appointments throughout an established service area and contributing to the company's goal of creating healthier, safer environments. Applicants must satisfy company vehicle and insurance eligibility requirements and successfully complete a background check and drug screening before employment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Meet company vehicle and insurance eligibility requirements, including at least 3 years of licensed driving experience.
- Experience using computers and smartphones.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to obtain necessary pest control certifications and licenses if not already held.
- Successfully complete a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
