About The Position

Arrow Exterminators is hiring a full-time Wildlife Technician to provide service to residential and commercial wildlife control customers through wildlife exclusion, trapping, and removal. Exclusion work includes sealing, caulking, or installing sheet metal on soffits, gutter lines, roof ridges, vents, and voids. The work is often performed from rooftops or ladders and may require basic carpentry. Technicians identify and address wildlife problems by inspecting customers’ homes, determining the source of issues, explaining recommended solutions, and carrying out exclusion, trapping, removal, prevention, or repair work. They collect payments and propose additional services when appropriate. Technicians work independently and schedule their own services. The position requires a minimum 40-hour workweek and may include evenings and weekends as needed.

Requirements

Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing or certification exams.
Ability to pass internal technical exams.
Current driver’s license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Professional appearance, including wearing an approved Arrow uniform.
Ability to work a minimum 40-hour workweek.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Identify, remove, and prevent wildlife problems and repair damage caused by wildlife.
Inspect customers’ homes to find the source of wildlife issues.
Determine and explain appropriate solutions to customers.
Perform wildlife exclusion, trapping, and removal services.
Seal, caulk, or install sheet metal on soffits, gutter lines, roof ridges, vents, and voids.
Collect payment due after service and propose additional beneficial services.
Run and schedule services independently.
