Pest Control Technician/ Exterminator - AZ - Yuma
About The Position
The Industrial Fumigant Company (IFC), a division of Rollins Corporation, provides pest management and consultation services to the food and commodity industries. The Pest Control Technician/Exterminator serves commercial accounts by inspecting customer facilities, developing pest-control solutions, and performing treatments. The role involves maintaining strong customer relationships through professional service, knowledgeable communication, and accurate documentation. Training is provided to develop expertise in pest-control methods and products. Some travel is required, and the route is split between Phoenix and Yuma, Arizona.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior experience required.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment; the company pays for it.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
- Ability to pass a drug screen.
- Ability to meet the physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations.
- Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Willingness to work the hours necessary to complete complex customer requirements as needed.
- Some travel required; route is split between Phoenix and Yuma, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Inspect commercial customer facilities in depth, develop solutions, and perform treatments.
- Respond to customer requests professionally and in a timely manner, maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Use training and company resources to identify efficient solutions for customer needs.
- Develop knowledge and expertise in pest-control methods and products through provided training.
- Maintain accurate customer and company records.
- Work independently and complete complex customer requirements as needed.
