Pest Control Technician/ Exterminator - GA - Bremen
About The Position
The Industrial Fumigant Company (IFC), a division of Rollins Corporation, provides pest management and consultation services to the food and commodity industries. The Pest Control Technician/Exterminator serves commercial accounts by inspecting customer facilities, developing pest-control solutions, and treating facilities. The role involves maintaining strong customer relationships through professional service, knowledgeable communication, timely responses, and accurate documentation. IFC provides training to build knowledge of pest-control methods and products. The role requires independent field work, attention to detail, and willingness to work the hours needed to complete complex customer requirements. Some travel is required throughout South Carolina.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior experience required.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment; the company pays for the license.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
- Ability to pass a drug screen.
- Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Must meet physical job requirements and safely perform job duties with or without accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth inspections of commercial customer facilities, develop solutions, and provide treatments.
- Respond to customer requests professionally and in a timely manner, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Use training and company resources to identify efficient, appropriate solutions for customers.
- Develop knowledge and expertise in pest-control methods and products through company-provided training.
- Maintain accurate customer and IFC records.
- Work independently in the field and complete complex customer requirements as needed.
