The Personal Training Director in Training is a leadership-development position responsible for learning and executing the full scope of the Personal Training Director role while continuing to personally service Personal Training clients. The role supports the Personal Training Director in leading the Personal Training department at an assigned club location by developing trainers, supporting revenue and enrollment performance, and delivering an exceptional member experience. The employee develops the leadership, business, and operational capabilities needed to advance to Personal Training Director and is accountable for personal client results and production as well as supporting overall department performance. The role operates under the direction of the Personal Training Director and takes ownership of assigned departmental areas while developing toward full Director responsibility. The position supports the Personal Training department and provides leadership support for, or works alongside, Elite Trainers, Master Trainers, and Personal Trainers. The employee learns and performs the Director role, supports trainer recruitment, onboarding, and development, assists with meetings and one-to-ones, coaches trainers, and completes leadership coursework and readiness requirements. The employee also maintains a personal client base, delivers Personal Training sessions, conducts CrunchONE Kickoff sessions, and works toward client retention and enrollment targets. Other work includes supporting departmental revenue and Kickoff goals, marketing and member-engagement efforts, retail sales, client documentation and reviews, use of dashboards to re-engage at-risk clients, accurate system records, certification and coursework compliance, payment and loss-prevention policies, and cleanliness standards. This is a non-exempt, hourly position based at a single assigned club location. The schedule is set in advance by the Personal Training Director based on member demand and operational needs, and typically includes evenings and weekends. Occasional travel is required for Company meetings, training, and events as business needs require. The position involves regularly demonstrating and participating in physical fitness activities, standing and moving on the training floor for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
