About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our team in Van Buren Township, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar care-giving role is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and document clients’ health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with medication reminders according to care plans.
- Ensure clients’ homes are safe, clean, and comfortable.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
