The Personal Support Workers (PSWs) are part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering a great customer service experience by demonstrating compassion and empathy towards residents, family members, and the team. Requirements
- Personal Support Worker Certification from a certified educational facility OR internationally educated nurse
- Strong drive, respect and an understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role
- Focus on teamwork and customer service with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required
- Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one

Responsibilities
- Support and deliver on all personalized activities of daily living that meet our resident’s needs, including ambulatory support, personal hygiene, companionship, and nutritional support
- Build trusted relationships with our residents, families, and teams with continuous ongoing and effective communication
- Document the completion of tasks on an electronic health record platform throughout their shift
- Quickly identify and communicate changes in resident care needs to our clinical leads
