About The Position

The Personal Stylist Support employee supports customer service and sales at the point of sale. The role assists customers by phone and at checkout with sales, returns, and other transactions, while helping keep service quick, easy, and enjoyable. The employee helps maintain the department by straightening, lightly cleaning, and restocking the cash wrap and sales floor; stays current on fashion trends and products to support customer purchase decisions; and builds customer relationships by sharing information about events, Nordstrom gift cards, and Nordstrom Rewards. The position may also support other store areas, including order fulfillment and order pickup. This is a seasonal position at South Coast Plaza. The posted hourly pay range is $18.85–$19.65, with offers dependent on location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The position may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. Able to remain in continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting items above the head.
Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
