About The Position

Bloomingdale’s is seeking a highly energetic support associate to join its Personal Shopping Team. The Personal Shopping Assistant helps enhance the store’s appearance and create a neat, clean, and organized shopping environment. The role includes maintaining presentation standards, providing service to internal and external customers, and supporting customers and selling activities as business needs require.

Requirements

• No education or experience is required; the qualifications also list 1–2 years of related experience.
• Demonstrate drive, goal orientation, and an entrepreneurial outlook.
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers and demonstrate an energetic, positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and learn new procedures.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Bloomingdale’s presentation standards.
• Offer customer service to internal and external customers.
• Promptly greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Maintain a basic understanding of merchandise features and benefits.
• Locate pre-sold merchandise for customers as needed.
• Provide additional selling support according to business needs.
• Maintain schedule flexibility dependent on business needs.
