Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products, including coastal and storm-related coverage.
  • Proven ability to work with multiple carriers and navigate the full sales cycle.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in quoting and understanding general underwriting principles.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and software, including Catalyst (training available).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal lines insurance (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Manage a personal lines book of business valued at $500,000.
  • Provide exceptional client-facing service, including understanding client needs, explaining coverage options, and building strong relationships.
  • Conduct heavy personal lines quoting and ensure accurate and timely processing of policies.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of coverage from a general underwriting standpoint.
  • Work with multiple carriers to provide tailored solutions, including coastal and catastrophe (CAT) products.
  • Handle the full sales cycle, from quoting to policy issuance, while maintaining compliance with carrier guidelines.
  • Stay informed about market trends, carrier products, and marketing strategies to better serve clients.
  • Utilize Catalyst software (training provided if necessary) to manage client information and streamline processes.
