About The Position

Ratehub Inc. is a Canadian Fintech company focused on helping consumers with their financial needs, including saving, spending, borrowing, investing, and protecting. They operate multiple businesses such as mortgage and insurance brokerages, a mortgage origination and servicing business, a Financial Services Marketplace, and content platforms like Ratehub and MoneySense. They aim to provide Canadians with the best online financial experiences and cheaper insurance policies. This role is for an Experienced Customer Service Broker to join their Insurance team in Alberta, working remotely. The position is with RH Insurance, a fast-growing brokerage within Ratehub, and the successful candidate will be motivated by working with a startup team in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Requirements

  • BC Level 2 license required with Alberta auto experience
  • Alberta Level 1/2 strongly preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of insurance experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service and professional expert advice to clients
  • Proactively conduct renewal reviews to ensure customer retention targets are met
  • Handle outbound calls to existing clients for renewal review as necessary
  • Liaison with insurers, building and maintaining relationships
  • Administer, support and complete policy changes within our company partner’s portals and websites
  • Review policies and make recommendations as required
  • Adhere to the underwriting criteria set out by our broker partners
  • Coordinate and follow up on client documents
  • Respond to incoming calls and service customer needs
  • Give claims advice to clients, report claims, follow up on claims

Benefits

  • Compensation range of $55,000 - $64,000 CAD
