The company operates various businesses including mortgage brokerage, life insurance brokerage, home and auto insurance brokerage, mortgage origination and servicing, a Financial Services Marketplace, and content through Ratehub and MoneySense. They aim to provide users with the best online mortgage experience, personalized credit card and loan options, and cheaper auto & home insurance policies. This role is for an Experienced Customer Service Broker to join the Insurance team in Alberta, specifically within RH Insurance, a fast-growing brokerage. The position is fully remote and reports to the Customer Service Broker Team Lead. The ideal candidate is motivated by working with a startup team, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to grow with a rapidly expanding company.

Requirements

  • Alberta level 1 licence required
  • Minimum 2+ years of insurance experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service and professional expert advice to clients
  • Proactively conduct renewal reviews to ensure customer retention targets are met
  • Handle outbound calls to existing clients for renewal review as necessary
  • Liaison with insurers, building and maintaining relationships
  • Administer, support and complete policy changes within our company partner’s portals and websites
  • Review policies and make recommendations as required
  • Adhere to the underwriting criteria set out by our broker partners
  • Coordinate and follow up on client documents
  • Respond to incoming calls and service customer needs
  • Give claims advice to clients, report claims, follow up on claims

Benefits

  • Compensation range: $55,000 - $64,000 CAD
