About The Position

Ratehub Inc. is a Canadian Fintech company aiming to be a one-stop shop for all consumer financial needs, including saving, spending, borrowing, investing, and protection. Through its digital application technology and award-winning in-house brokerages, Ratehub helps millions of Canadians monthly improve their finances. The company operates various businesses, including mortgage brokerage, life insurance brokerage, home and auto insurance brokerage, mortgage origination and servicing, a Financial Services Marketplace, and content across Ratehub and MoneySense. They are seeking an experienced Customer Service Broker to join their Insurance team in Alberta for a fully remote role. This position reports to the Customer Service Broker Team Lead and is part of the rapidly growing RH Insurance brokerage. The ideal candidate is motivated by working with a startup team, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to grow with an expanding company.

Requirements

  • BC Level 2 license required with Alberta auto experience
  • Alberta Level 1/2 strongly preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of insurance experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service and professional expert advice to clients
  • Proactively conduct renewal reviews to ensure customer retention targets are met
  • Handle outbound calls to existing clients for renewal review as necessary
  • Liaison with insurers, building and maintaining relationships
  • Administer, support and complete policy changes within our company partner’s portals and websites
  • Review policies and make recommendations as required
  • Adhere to the underwriting criteria set out by our broker partners
  • Coordinate and follow up on client documents
  • Respond to incoming calls and service customer needs
  • Give claims advice to clients, report claims, follow up on claims
  • Strong Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
