About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers to assist seniors in Port Charlotte with personal care, daily routines, and companionship in their homes. Caregivers provide one-on-one client support and follow individualized care plans while communicating professionally with clients’ families and office staff. The role offers flexible full-time and part-time scheduling, primarily on weekday day shifts, and includes initial and ongoing training, a supportive office team, and opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Professional caregiving experience is preferred.
• Applicants with caregiving experience, with or without CNA/HHA certification, are encouraged to apply.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Clean driving record.
• Smartphone and email access.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Provide companionship.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide transportation and assist with shopping and errands.
• Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Follow individualized care plans.
• Communicate professionally with families and office staff.
