About The Position
Amada Senior Care is hiring caregivers in Pasadena, Texas, who are willing to travel to surrounding areas. Caregivers provide non-medical, in-home assistance to seniors and veterans, helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. The position is part-time with flexible scheduling, and includes in-office orientation. Caregivers may work with male and female clients and must travel within a 20–25-mile radius.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
- Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
- Willingness to travel within a 20–25-mile radius.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist clients with mobility, errands, and appointments.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
- Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions.
- Encourage independence and participation in daily activities.
