About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers is hiring overnight caregivers to provide in-home care and companionship. Caregivers help improve clients’ daily lives while supporting their health, well-being, and independence in a safe, comfortable home environment. The role includes companionship and household support, with occasional personal assistance. Shifts are 7 PM–7 AM or 8 PM–8 AM. Full-time work is available, and the position offers training and opportunities to advance to team leadership.

Requirements

• Be reliable, take initiative, build rapport, continue developing professionally, and demonstrate compassion consistent with the company’s core values.
• Have some caregiver experience in a personal or professional home-care setting or skilled facility.
• Pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, and drug screening tests.
• Provide verification of any certifications held.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide transportation.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Provide occasional personal assistance, such as help with dressing or showering.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Advocate for clients’ health and well-being.
• Meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the care team.
