About The Position

Moore Care Caregiver Services is seeking a loving, compassionate caregiver to provide professional in-home care to clients. The ideal candidate is patient and friendly, communicates effectively, follows instructions, and can perform a variety of tasks to support clients. The role includes helping clients with mobility and ambulation around the home and outside the home, including to appointments and on walks, as well as assisting with personal care and hygiene. The employer is a Baton Rouge-based, family-owned and operated in-home care provider.

Requirements

10 years of documented caregiving experience.
Reliable transportation to transport clients.
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
Respectful and compassionate demeanor.
Good time management skills.
Ability to clock in and out and complete care notes on a smartphone.
Ability to climb one flight of stairs.
Ability to lift 10 pounds.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ethics.
Physical endurance.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the home and outside, including doctor’s appointments and walks.
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Transport clients.
Perform housekeeping and cooking while observing dietary constraints.
Clock in and out and complete care notes using a smartphone.
Follow health and safety standards.
