About The Position
This is a rewarding, hands-on role supporting residents and their families. Personal Care Workers work within the aged care team to promote quality care and demonstrate competence in providing resident-centred care. Calvary St Joseph’s Retirement Community is home to 135 residents and offers a dementia-secure unit, an ethno-specific unit, respite accommodation services and independent living.
Requirements
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is essential.
- Current NDIS check or willingness to obtain one is essential.
- Effective written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of work health and safety (WHS) and infection control.
- A caring, positive attitude and a focus on placing residents at the centre of care.
- Desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
