About The Position

The Personal Care Attendant provides in-home support services to children and/or adults with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, or aging diagnoses. The role involves providing supervision and assistance with activities of daily living as outlined and authorized in each individual's plan of care.

The position is part-time, with fewer than 30 hours per week. Services support individuals and families across the listed communities in Virginia. Applicants are encouraged to indicate their preferred work location in the prescreening questions.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• A Virginia State Police criminal background check/report with satisfactory results may be required after a conditional job offer.
• Must not have been convicted of any barrier crimes listed on the criminal background report, per the regulations of applicable regulatory agencies.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience serving individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities or senior citizens is preferred.
