About The Position
Interim HealthCare of Augusta is hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide quality, one-on-one care to clients in the comfort of their homes. We currently have an immediate need for caregivers who are available for weekend morning and night shifts.
Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional caregivers
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently in a home care setting
- Strong communication skills
- Availability on Saturdays and/or Sundays
- Morning and night availability is especially needed
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Prepare light meals and provide medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition
- Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home
