About The Position

A&C Private Home Care is seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers to provide personalized, one-on-one support to clients in Stockbridge, Georgia. The role involves assisting immobile, recovering, or frail clients with personal care, daily routines, mobility, household tasks, errands, and companionship. Caregivers are expected to maintain a safe, tidy, and hygienic environment and report changes in clients’ physical, mental, or emotional conditions. The company offers training and support, including assistance obtaining CPR certification or an up-to-date TB test if needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be CPR certified or willing to obtain certification before starting.
• Must have an up-to-date TB test or be willing to obtain one before starting.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Ability to manage and organize clients’ routines effectively.
• Ability to assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and errands.
• Dependability, punctuality, compassion, and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of relevant experience is preferred; prior home-care experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, company, and comfort to immobile, recovering, or frail clients.
• Report changes in clients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to relevant parties.
• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathroom visits, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth.
• Engage clients in appropriate activities, such as games, walks, and conversation.
• Perform basic housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Assist clients with household finances, bills, and payments, and run errands.
• Accompany clients on outings and arrange transportation to medical appointments.
• Provide mobility support, including assistance with walking aids and wheelchairs.
• Maintain a hygienic, tidy, and safe environment.
• Use safe transfer techniques and respect clients’ dignity and comfort during personal care.
• Communicate with clients to understand their comfort levels and changes in their needs.
