About The Position

A&C Private Home Care is hiring compassionate, reliable caregivers to provide personalized, one-on-one support to clients across Georgia. The role involves helping clients with daily living activities, offering companionship and comfort, and maintaining a safe, hygienic home environment. Caregivers communicate changes in clients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to relevant parties and support clients’ dignity and safety during care. Prior home-care experience is a plus but is not required; training and support are provided. The position offers flexible schedules and pays $15–$16 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification before starting.
• Up-to-date TB test, or willingness to obtain one before starting.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Ability to manage and organize clients’ routines effectively.
• Ability to assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and errands.
• Dependability, punctuality, compassion, and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of relevant experience (preferred).
• Prior home-care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, company, and comfort to clients who are immobile, recovering, or frail.
• Report changes in clients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to relevant parties.
• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathroom visits, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth.
• Engage clients in appropriate activities, such as games, walks, and conversation.
• Perform basic housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Assist clients with household finances, bills, and payments, and run errands.
• Accompany clients on outings and arrange transportation to medical appointments.
• Provide mobility support, including assistance with walking aids and wheelchairs.
• Maintain a hygienic, tidy, and safe environment.
• Perform client transfers safely and respectfully, communicating with clients about their comfort and changing needs.
