About The Position

A&C Private Home Care is hiring a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide personalized, one-on-one support to clients in Riverdale, Georgia. The role involves assisting clients who are immobile, recovering, or frail with personal care, daily routines, companionship, household tasks, mobility, errands, and transportation to medical appointments. Caregivers must communicate changes in clients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions and help maintain a safe, clean environment. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification before starting.
• Current TB test or willingness to obtain one before starting.
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Ability to manage and organize clients’ routines effectively.
• Ability to assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and errands.
• Compassionate, reliable, and punctual approach to caregiving.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Prior home-care experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, companionship, and comfort to immobile, recovering, or frail clients.
• Report changes in clients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to relevant parties.
• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathroom visits, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth.
• Engage clients in appropriate activities, such as games, walks, or conversations.
• Perform basic housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Assist clients with household finances, bills, payments, and errands.
• Accompany clients on outings and arrange transportation to medical appointments.
• Provide mobility support, including assistance with walking aids and wheelchairs.
• Maintain a hygienic, tidy, and safe environment.
• Use proper safety techniques during transfers and respect clients’ dignity and comfort during personal care.
