Personal Care Assistant/Home Health Aide
About The Position
A&C Private Home Care is seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide personalized, one-on-one support to clients across Georgia. The role involves assisting immobile, recovering, or frail clients with personal care, daily routines, household tasks, mobility, errands, and companionship. Caregivers are expected to communicate changes in clients’ physical, mental, or emotional conditions and help maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment. Flexible schedules are offered, and training and support are available. CPR certification and an up-to-date TB test are required before starting, though candidates may obtain them beforehand with the company’s support.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification before starting.
- An up-to-date TB test, or willingness to obtain one before starting.
- Flexible schedule availability.
- Ability to manage and organize clients’ routines.
- Ability to assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and errands.
- Compassionate, dependable, and punctual.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred; prior home-care experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
- Provide support, company, and comfort to immobile, recovering, or frail clients.
- Report changes in clients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to relevant parties.
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathroom visits, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth.
- Engage clients in suitable activities such as games, walks, and conversation.
- Perform basic housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Assist clients with household finances, bills, payments, and errands.
- Accompany clients on outings and arrange transportation to medical appointments.
- Provide mobility support, including assistance with walking aids and wheelchairs.
- Maintain a hygienic, tidy, and safe environment.
- Use safe transfer techniques and respect clients’ dignity and comfort during personal care.
