About The Position
Always Compassionate Health is seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support clients throughout Rockland County, Westchester County, and New York City. The role involves assisting clients with personal care and activities of daily living, offering companionship, and helping them remain supported at home. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, including live-in and weekend schedules. Day and night schedules are also available. The listed pay rate is $18.65–$20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- New York State HHA or PCA certification.
- Passion for caring for adult, elderly, or pediatric clients.
- Strong communication skills.
- English proficiency.
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
- Physical, QuantiFERON or two PPD tests within one year, and MMR titers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the care plan.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
- Accompany clients to appointments or on walks.
- Prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
