About The Position
Always Compassionate Health is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support clients throughout Westchester County and New York City. The role offers full-time or part-time schedules, including live-in and weekend opportunities, with day and night schedules available. The pay rate is $19.65–$21.00 per hour. Candidates should be compassionate caregivers who are passionate about assisting adult, elderly, or pediatric clients.
Requirements
- New York State HHA or PCA certification.
- Passion for caring for adult, elderly, or pediatric clients.
- Strong communication skills.
- English proficiency.
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
- Physical, Quantiferon or two PPD tests within one year, and MMR titers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the care plan.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
- Accompany clients to appointments or on walks.
- Prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
