About The Position
The Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver provides one-on-one, non-medical support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes in Wilmington, Newark, and Middletown. The role supports clients with daily living activities and helps them age in place while building positive relationships.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience providing personal care.
- Proof of current TB testing.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship.
- Assist with light cooking and cleaning.
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with ambulation.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Transport clients to appointments and run errands.
