About The Position
The Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver provides one-on-one, non-medical home care to seniors and adults with disabilities in communities including Rehoboth, Lewes, and Georgetown. The role supports clients with daily living activities and helps them age in place in their own homes, while building relationships through dignified, compassionate care.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience providing personal care.
- Proof of current TB testing.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship.
- Assist with light cooking and cleaning.
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with ambulation.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Provide transportation to appointments and for errands.
