About The Position
Provide one-on-one, non-medical home care services to seniors and disabled adults in Dover, Milford, and Smyrna, helping clients with daily living activities and supporting their ability to age in place in their own homes. The role involves building relationships with clients and providing care with dignity, compassion, and respect. Duties include companionship, light cooking and cleaning, bathing, grooming, toileting, assistance with ambulation, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments and errands.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience providing personal care.
- Proof of current TB testing.
- Physically able to perform the duties of the position.
- Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship to clients.
- Perform light cooking and cleaning.
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with ambulation.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Transport clients to appointments and errands.
- Provide one-on-one non-medical assistance with daily living activities.
